Use verification tools for an extra check

  1. Reverse image search (e.g. Google Lens, TinEye, Bing Visual Search): with these tools, you can check where an image has appeared before and whether it has been used in connection with other events.
  2. VISAVIS image and video checker (www.visualfactcheck.eu): with this tool you can check whether an image was made with AI or manipulated, and check whether videos have been taken out of context.
